Job Description Select’s The Gate Attendant and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for controlling access to the facility, monitoring personnel and vehicle activity, maintaining site security, and supporting the accurate management and movement of inventory and materials. This position processes outgoing shipments, assists with inventory controls and reconciliation, performs gate checks, and works closely with operations, procurement, finance, and other internal groups to ensure efficient facility and inventory operations. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Gate and Facility Operations Control access to the facility and assist authorized visitors, employees, and vendors with entry requirements.Monitor entrances and exits, control the movement of people and vehicles, and prevent unauthorized or unlawful entry.Operate gates, remote access devices, and security monitoring equipment as required.Perform gate checks of outgoing loads and examine vehicles or vehicle contents as appropriate.Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle and check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress or egress, mechanical problems, unlocked doors, and unauthorized persons.Monitor remote entrances using closed-circuit television and other available security equipment.Observe and report incidents, suspicious activity, safety concerns, or other irregularities to appropriate company personnel or public safety authorities as required.Respond to emergencies in an orderly manner utilizing proper training and established SOPs.Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful interaction with employees, visitors, and other facility personnel.Prepare and maintain required logs, reports, and other facility documentation. Inventory and Material Coordination Develop, implement, and maintain processes for effective control and tracking of facility inventory.Process outgoing shipments to well sites and provide Bills of Lading (BOLs) to operations.Place purchase requisitions for facility materials and supplies.Coordinate with operations to assist with forecasting equipment and material requirements for upcoming jobs.Audit batch tickets, BOLs, SOPs, and other inventory-related documentation for accuracy and compliance.Assist with reconciling jobs, inventory records, and material movements to identify and reduce variances.Lead semiannual physical inventory activities at the facility.Work with procurement, sourcing, customer service, operations, and finance to maintain effective inventory management processes.Assist in developing and implementing business processes that support company inventory policies and improve operational efficiency.Assist with loading and unloading shipments using a forklift as necessary.Identify inventory or process discrepancies and assist with developing sustainable resolutions.Train personnel on inventory processes and procedures as needed. RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
