Warranty Manager

• Lead all warranty recovery for power units, trailers, and major components. • Build warranty processes for shops and ensure accurate documentation and claim tracking. • Train maintenance teams to identify and document warranty‑eligible repairs. • Oversee timely claim submission, diagnostics, and recovery. • Manage OEM recalls, service bulletins, and related repair reimbursements. • Resolve claim disputes with OEMs, dealers, and suppliers. • Analyze failure trends to support asset specs and supplier performance. • Drive improvements that reduce cycle times and parts costs. • Partner with Finance to track recoveries and report financial impact.
Education & Experience
3+ years in warranty recovery, fleet procurement, or maintenance operations in commercial trucking.
Strong technical knowledge of heavy‑duty systems, diagnostics, and OEM warranty programs.
Proven success in high‑value warranty recovery in multi‑shop fleet environments.
Experience with fleet/enterprise systems such as TMW, SAP, Oracle, or Decisiv.
Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, and analytical reporting.
Preferred
Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA Part 396, EPA emissions standards, and telematics platforms.
Work Environment
Hybrid role with 15–25% travel to vendors, OEMs, and maintenance terminals.
Regular time in shop environments working directly with technicians.
Physical Requirements
Mix of office and shop‑floor activity.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Frequent walking; occasional bending, kneeling, or reaching during inspections.
Adequate hearing and vision to assess equipment.
