POSITION SUMMARY

The Restaurant Manager is a key member of the Food & Beverage leadership team and is responsible for managing overall operations of the Club’s dining facilities. This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for service excellence, and a hands-on approach to team development and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail, a collaborative leadership style, and a proactive attitude toward enhancing member and guest experiences in all dining areas, including the main restaurant, patio, bar, and special event spaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

• Daily operations of all dining venues, including lunch and dinner service, private events, and Club functions
• Ensure seamless and consistent service aligned with OCC’s standards of hospitality Oversee opening and closing procedures, floor management and shift supervision
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards in all F&B areas

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and motivate front-of-house team members, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff Train, coach, and mentor staff to provide elevated service and hospitality
• Foster a positive team culture that reflects OCC’s commitment to member satisfaction

Guest Experience & Member Relations

• Build lasting relationships with members and guests through attentive service and communication

• Respond promptly to concerns and resolve member issues with professionalism and care

• Uphold a “member-first” philosophy and promote a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere

Administrative Duties

• Support inventory management, ordering, and cost controls Monitor payroll, labor efficiency, and budget adherence
• Collaborate with the Events & Catering team to execute flawless private events
• Contribute to menu development, wine pairings, and seasonal offerings in partnership with the Executive Chef

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of restaurant or private club supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of upscale dining service and beverage operations
• Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams
• Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Proficient with POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic reporting tools

Preferred:

• Experience in private clubs, luxury hospitality, or resort settings
• TIPS or ServSafe Certification
• Familiarity with Jonas or Club essential software
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
