This location is part of our Prepared Foods Division. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our facility and influence company performance by maintaining our equipment. Our Refrigeration Technicians are vital to maintaining our Team Member’s safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly!
This role is 2nd Shift, 1:30PM-10:00 PM (1330 -2200) rotating schedule 7 on off 8 on 4 off, candidates can also be considered for other shifts (1st/3rd) should one become available.
This role is onsite in Enid, OK at out 54th St. Plant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With moderate supervision provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, HCFC systems, hot water, compressed air, and steam systems.
Proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, performing emergency mechanical or electrical repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
This position is exposed to noise levels that require hearing protection.
Candidates should be able to read and interpret blue prints, repair air compressors and evaluate pneumatic systems inspection procedures.
Understanding boiler theory and the basic eleven IIAR Basic NH3 Refrigeration schematics will be required for this role.
Must be able to pass a HAZ-Mat physical and pass the training to be certified as an Emergency Responder Technician Level and participate on the Emergency Response Team.
Also responsible for minimizing downtime due to equipment and system failure.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma/GED required. 1 year of industrial/refrigeration maintenance experience education (I.E. possess industrial/refrigeration maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) a plus.
Experience: 1(+) years of industrial refrigeration experience or equivalent experience (Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical/PLC)
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level
Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings.
Must Reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer sponsorship.

Special Skills:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
Frequent overhead work.
Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
