Job Overview:
Reporting to the CHRO, this leader brings a premier business background and interest in joining the HR leadership team of our pet-loving public company.  Our company has a capable and diverse team across our services, product, and corporate groups who have joined us through organic growth and acquisition. This is a critical leadership role to lead our talent acquisition function as we look to sustainably scale. 
 
You will lead a team of talent acquisition professionals including dotted line responsibility of our field services team members who handle recruiting in their local sites.  You will partner across our leadership teams to bring top talent to PetIQ as we build the best team in the industry. This position will champion our brand, mission, and core values; develop compelling market positioning; bring innovative and optimal recruiting technology solutions; define and communicate our recruiting process; and measure and continuously improve our success in hiring quality and speed as well as our new hire experience and retention.  This role will successfully operate in a matrixed and entrepreneurial environment. Preference for deep experience in market-leading companies with a blended exempt/non-exempt workforce. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned talent acquisition leader to strengthen and deliver an innovative and successful recruiting program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design, execute, and communicate optimal talent acquisition processes (including workforce planning, onboarding), reporting, and policies. 
·Strengthen and mentor a high-performing TA team, including dotted line management of field team members handling local recruiting. Inspire team spirit and cultivate a process of ideas/wins-sharing for cross-pollination.
· Oversee and leverage external recruiting resources for highest value and return (e.g., LinkedIn, marketing, recruiting partners)
· Promote our brand, mission, and values through our recruiting process and collateral
·  Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify hiring profiles with increasing rigor
·  Meet hiring targets in terms of quality and time
· Ensure our recruiting process, status, and priorities are communicated and understood by the leadership and recruiting team members
·  Track and report on hiring targets, priorities, and status
·  Ensure a highly qualified diverse applicant pool and outcomes
· Develop innovative sourcing strategies to find highly capable candidates
·  Collaborate with IT to leverage and assess our ATS and vendors; use ATS to build talent pipelines
·   Measure and review outcomes (e.g., candidate experience, new hire retention) and develop insights to improve our process and team productivity 
 
Note: This position is ideally based In the Eagle, ID headquarters but we are open to a remote arrangement with travel as needed.
