Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Store Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our agricultural retail store. As the Agriculture Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving sales performance. You will be responsible for inventory management, staff supervision, sales strategies, and ensuring that our store remains well-stocked and always organized. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing customer experience, managing inventory, and achieving financial objectives. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a keen eye for detail. This role is not only about managing the store but also about building strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs, and providing them with superior service and expert advice on our range of products. The role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the agriculture store and lead staff to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional events to attract new customers.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring products are stocked and organized efficiently.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff to maintain a high standard of service and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and maintain optimal stock levels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a store manager or in a similar retail management position.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer and ERP software knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and experience with sales reporting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
