Job: Retail Sales Associate-Full/Part Time

Walker’s Western Store strives to provide the ultimate customer experience for individuals shopping for their Western Lifestyle needs. A retail sales associate is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information. A retail sales associate should develop product knowledge that will further assist the promotion of sales to customers.

Requirements:

· Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

· Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service

· Ability to lift or move merchandise

· Willingness to learn about products

· Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times

· Assist store manager in maintaining inventory on shelves

· Math skills to count merchandise and for cash handling, processing refunds, accepting payments and other features of the cash register system

· Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision

· Available to work a variety of hours, which may include morning, afternoon, and weekend hours.

· Enjoy and promote overall western fashion, lifestyle, and products.
