Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first face our visitors are greeted with when visiting the YWCA Enid. This position is responsible for performing routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing and record-keeping.

This employee will support all policies, procedures, and programs which will assist in building and maintaining a positive environment at the YWCA Enid.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities include, but are not limited to
1. Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, visitors and clients; and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department.
2. Answer the central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
3. Act as support staff for employees of the YWCA Enid. This includes but is not exclusive to: Assisting with mailings, addressing envelopes, making copies, phone calls, etc.
4. Coordinate the public with the use/rental of YWCA facilities.
5. Coordinate YWCA volunteers.
6. Assist the public with scheduling shopping appointments for My Sister’s Closet & Project Cinderella.
7. Operate office machines as required.
8. Keep track of staff/internal calendars.
9. Collect program/numbers served data monthly and update internal records.
10. Ensure building safety with regards to doors being locked and lights left on/off before and after business hours.
11. Assist with organizing and scheduling public trainings for YWCA staff and the community.
12. Be knowledgeable of the YWCA Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, as well as YWCA Enid programs and services. Assist with YWCA Board Meetings.
13. Build a confident, respectful relationship with other staff members, volunteers, and the Board of Directors.
14. Have the ability to work in a non-judgmental manner with people from diverse backgrounds, belief systems, and cultures.
15. Maintain professional and technical knowledge and adherence to any and all requirements as they pertain to the position. Constantly verify quality and accuracy of work.
16. Other duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director, the direct supervisor for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities - This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment - This job is based in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; talk; and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Required Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
