Job Overview: The High School Testing Coordinator oversees the planning, administration, and security of all standardized and school-wide assessments for high school campuses, including OSTP, ACT, and other assessments as needed. This role ensures that Enid High School and Enid Public Schools Academy comply with district, state, and federal testing mandates while providing a seamless, stress-free testing environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of exams, including ACT/SAT, Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP), Advanced Placement (AP), WIDA, and STAR.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between high school campuses and the Enid Public Schools IT Department.
- Coordinate the technical readiness check of student Chromebooks before testing to ensure that secure testing browsers (e.g., TestNav, Bluebook) are installed and up to date.
- Coordinate the registration of students, maintain accurate rosters, and ensure that student demographics (including IEP/504 accommodations) are correctly uploaded to testing portals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all testing materials. Investigate and report any testing irregularities or breaches immediately.
- Recruit, train, and supervise test administrators and proctors. Conduct test administration training for faculty to ensure everyone understands state protocols.
- Collaborate with counselors, the Special Education Department Chair, and the MTSS Coordinator to ensure every student receives their documented accommodations (e.g., extended time, small group setting, or text-to-speech).
- Schedule testing rooms, manage technology needs (Chromebooks, secure browsers), and minimize campus disruptions during testing windows.
- Act as the high school lead for Mastery Connect, managing teacher trackers, student rosters, and common assessments.
- Collaborate with the high school counseling department to conduct credit audits, facilitate student transitions, and implement targeted academic interventions for focus student groups.
